Learning at home and learning to be at home with family – all the time

We also enjoyed the many photos of home learning – we generally got to see the fun things but we know there was a lot of reading, some writing and lots of maths too! If you look on our class pages we’ve been setting work each week and also there are the weekly sports challenges. We subscribe to First News which has been uploaded every week as well as Picture News which is a great way to keep talking and discussing current topics at home.

Your photos were a source of great encouragement for others to see that they too were allowed to do PE in your PJs and to bake lots as well as get outside into the glorious sunshine!

There were Brownie Challenges, zoom quizzes, Y6 baking online, craft squares and lots of ideas that the PTFA shred to keep everyone very busy. Some of you made heart shaped messages for those in hospital. There were many opportunities to help those around you by just going for a chat across the gate. Well done Eyam Community for getting stuck into helping each other feel safe and part of the village even when we couldn’t go out.
